EJC3’s primary objective with respect to its information system is to ensure that it has a technology platform that will enable it to process data efficiently and effectively over time. All software and hardware upgrade proposals are carefully evaluated from the standpoint of administrative and operational benefits, risks and financial cost. This allows it to meaningfully control costs without giving up the significant benefits associated with ongoing technological advancements.

Computer Environment

To maximize internal operating efficiency, and to enable highly secure and efficient remote access, the EJC3 computer environment is based on the Microsoft™ high security desktop model.

Third Party Audits

The EJC3 network and applications have been subjected to regular ongoing independent third party audits. These audits have resulted in such comments as "EJC3's policies are exemplary" and "EJC3's password policies, self auditing procedures, and checklists are just a few things they excel in."

IT Staff

Most EJC3 IT functions are performed by an in-house group of highly competent technical staff.
